Tim is the Lead Pastor of Compass Church, a reproducing church in Goodyear, AZ. In 2016 he joined the EFCA West staff as the Church Planting Director. He has coached many church planters over the years and taught Church Planting Boot Camps throughout the United States. Originally from Southern California, he moved with his family to Mesa, AZ, to plant a church.
While he loves ministry, Pastor Tim’s real love is being a husband and father. He married the love of his life, Judi, in 1998, and they have three school-age children: Ryan, Cambria, and Madison, (and a dog named Wesley).
Ray is a leader in the multi-ethnic church planting world, Ray has been planting churches and coaching church planters for the past several decades. He is the founder of Ambassador Network, which has planted churches in Washington D.C..
Ray is from Southern California where he attended Biola University, majoring in Biblical Studies. From Biola he went to Talbot and Dallas Theological Seminary earning a Masters in Divinity and a Masters in Sacred Theology. More recently, he has completed his Doctorate in Ministry at Trinity Divinity Evangelical School. In addition to his academic history, he has extensive ministry experience in second generation Korean American and multi-ethnic ministries.
Dean has been a Pastor and Church Planter with the EFCA since 1986. In 2012, he helped lead two local congregations in a successful merger that established NOVA Community Church in Torrance, California. He currently serves NOVA as the Lead Pastor. Dean works with Church Assistance Ministry (CAM) as a Senior Church Consultant in the areas of Church Mergers, Church Planting and Organizational Health. He coaches Church Planters and conducts Church Planting Assessments for the EFCA. Dean is married to Janet and they have two adult children. Dean loves the Torrance community and he serves the Police Department as the Lead Chaplain and he is a member of the Torrance Parks and Recreation Commission. In his free time Dean enjoys being outdoors, the Los Angeles Dodgers, trout fishing in the Eastern Sierras, surf fishing at the local beaches, and exploring the Hawaiian Islands.
Shane has been in full time ministry for 24 years. He got his first taste for church planting in 1994 when he joined a planting team in Temecula Ca. He served on staff there for 7 years. He planted Mountain View Fellowship in Heber City, Utah in 2007 starting as a Bible Study in his living room and has seen the church grow to an average attendance of 350. They have baptized over 120 people in that time and have planted a campus in nearby Kamas. He also serves on the board of Loving Utah, a non denominational Church Planting organization committed to seeing healthy churches planted through out Utah.
Shane has been married to his wife Tonya for 28 years and they have 5 children ranging in age form 23-7. When he isn't busy with pastoring or working within the planting movement he enjoys riding his motorcycle, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
